Whole House Air Purifiers
Rated as the best central filtration systems, the whole house series utilizes the by-pass design to attach to any forced air ducted heating/cooling systems from 2 tons to 10 ton capacity. The units are attached to the return-air side of the heating/cooling system in a partial by-pass configuration. (see figure below) The powerful motors in the HEPA Shield units pull the air through the prefilter, carbon and True HEPA filters and handles the pressure resistance across these three filters so the heating/cooling system fan sees no additional resistance.
